The three international music competitions in the Netherlands, the IVC, the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition and the Tromp International Music Competition present their prize winners in a special programme in the Dutch Culture Centre (DCC) in Shanghai, China.
At the DCC the Netherlands China Arts Foundation organises a diverse programme of events that aims to link the Dutch and Chinese arts ‘worlds’ and to stimulate artistic dialogue between the two countries. The DCC is an official part of Expo 2010 Shanghai.
On July 23 and 24 German baritone Falko Hönisch (winner Margie Weideman Song Prize and the prize for the best interpretation of the Dutch composition in 2008) performs with Vitaly Pisarenko (winner of the Liszt Competition 2008) with percussionist Yi-Ping Yang (winner Tromp Competition 2006) and the Heath Quartet (winner Tromp Competition 2008). Made in Holland is a continuous performance in which the musicians present a programme in all possible combinations with each other.
