Posted on 20/09/2008 | No Comments(Nederlands) Annett Andriesen, de nieuwe directeur, ziet weer toekomst voor het Internationaal Vocalisten Concours. [DEN BOSCH] Sopranen drukken een zwaar stempel op de 47ste editie van het Internationaal Vocalisten Concours (IVC). Bijna tachtig hebben er de weg naar Den Bosch weten te vinden. De overige kandidaten vormen een bonte menge- ling van Russische countertenoren, Aziatische mezzo-prinsessen en baritons met een uitgesproken Don Giovanni-fysiek. Een bezienswaardigheid vormt de kaalhoofdige Poolse tweeling, van wie de een meestrijdt als bariton en de ander zich heeft ingeschreven als ‘mannelijke sopraan’. Extreem hoog zingende heren waren nog niet van de partij in 1975. Toen behoorde mezzosopraan Annett Andriesen tot de prijswinnaars van het concours waar ze nu haar vuurdoop ondergaat als directeur.
